About us!
We are the Mech Mavericks or Team 8387 from Advanced Technologies Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Our team was founded in 2020 and has shown the same perseverance through hard times as we did back then. Our team is never satisfied with “just okay” and as such we strive for excellence, attempting to improve ourselves with every minute of our time in the workshop. Integrating this principle into everything we do is what makes our team us, providing the foundation for the way we hold ourselves to higher standards and strive for improvement.

Hello! I am Nolan, your president for FIRST Robotics Team 8387. I am a junior in the engineering program area. I am extremely excited to lead the team and share my knowledge of robotics with all of you! My hobbies include gaming, playing guitar/drums, and tinkering. I am an avid collector of vinyls, owning dozens of vinyls from various artists.

My name is Malcom, Vice President of our team and overseer of any building ongoing and activities. I’m a junior, currently studying Computer Science and Architecture, throughout school I’ve learned AutoCad, Javascript and Java. Outside of school I like to do archery, and work with kids helping to teach them coding and computer science.
